March Easter Workshop

As promised, for those of you who missed the workshop this month, I have uploaded the photos of what we did. Firstly we made a very cleaver "Bag-a-lope" which converts an ordinary envelope into a gift bag, and in this case an easter egg treat bag. If you go hereyou will see a tutorial on how tomake it. Then we made these cute little easter egg baskets. Of the 3 I have here, 2 I have covered in Designer Series Paper and the purple one (lavender lace) I stamped straight onto the cardstock with Elegant Eggplant ink. Lovey-Dovey Valentines Cards

I did make these before Valentines Day, but I just didn't get them up here for you to see!! The card with the chocolate rose I made for my brother to give to his girlfriend I used the stamp set like-o-meter 117723 from the Spring Mini. The other card I made with the I{Heart} Hearts 117715 stamp set, also from the Spring Mini. I must admit, I love this stamp set and the fact that it co-ordinates with 2 of the punches makes card making a breeze. I will post more cards from this set soon. But remember to hurry if you would like any of these stamp sets as they will go at the end of this month when the Spring Mini catalogue finishes.

It's my FIRST birthday!!!

How time flies.....It was a year ago that I joined Stampin' Up! I joined during the Sale-A-Bration last year (a great time to join as you get more free stuff!!!) Thank you to all those who have supported me this last year, it has been lots of fun doing workshops with you, learning new things together and getting to play with lots of new crafty stuff. I hope we all enjoy this coming year just as much. Speaking of birthdays....it's time to celebrate. Wednesday 17th Feb at 7.30pm I will be having a 'Birthday Workshop' this will be a fun way to celebrate my 1st year and you will also get to make some much needed birthday cards. HAITIAN DISASTER RELIEF

New Summer Mini Catalogue - starts 1st Dec.

This is a very 'Pretty' catalogue and I am very excited about it. My Summer mini launch workshop will be Wednesday 2nd December at 7:30pm at my house. Please email me: becstampin@gmail.com to RSVP. We will be making this cute little set of 3 note cards in a circle pouch that is just in time for a Christmas gift. This lovely 'Butterfly Prints' stamp set and matching Punch will be available in the Summer mini catalogue and the circle was cut using the new Circle Scissor Plus, also available in the new catalogue. Christmas 'One-sheet-wonder' workshops

I loved the 'one-sheet-wonder' design that Linda Craven did on her blog so I have used that design to create a Christmas themed workshop. Workshops are Wed 11th and Sat 21st November. Come along, bring a friend and leave with 9 beautiful handmade cards, plus the template to do it all again at home!!!! I have use the lovely "Season of Joy" stamp set again.

We had a great night last week, thanks to all those who came.

2 Christmas card designs:

First was super quick and simple in red and black with clear embossing powder and dazzling diamonds stampin' glitter mixed together and heat embossed to create the background effect - gotta have sparkles at Christmas!!!

Second a pretty non traditional colour scheme using just clear embossing for the snow flakes and dazzling diamonds glitter on the words.

In both cards I used the "Season of Joy" stamp set which is very versatile and for 8 stamps it is great value at $51.95
